Murphy Family

This year I really want to be a better blogger....I've pretty much sucked this past little while!! So here is one of my new years resolutions to update more frequently!! We had an awesome Christmas and were so blessed this year!! Brynlee was thrilled because she sort of got what was going on and LOVED all the new toys!! Everyday Joe comes home from work he complains our living room looks like a daycare we have so many toys all over the place!! lol Oh well...he'll get over it...we live in that room!! That why it's called a "living room" right?? Many toys were boxed up and put in the basement because she doesn't play with them anyways...they are "baby" toys not big girl toys!! Little missy is definitely hitting the terrible 2's a little early...she thinks she is all that and some and it's her way or the highway!! Little does she know.... :) We enjoyed our annual IHOP Breakfast with the Murphy's on Christmas Eve day and afterwards we always go to Best Buy or some type of entertainment store this year was FYE (which is awesome) and everyone picks out a movie they would like!! It's an awesome tradition, we love it!! Later that evening, we went to dinner at Tucanos Brazilian Grill with my family! We always go to dinner with them Christmas Eve and it is always somewhere nice we usually don't go to because we can't afford it!! lol We spent Christmas morning at our house and then went to both families ending up having 3 Christmas's!! Every time we would come home Joe would be freaking out at all stuff Brynlee was getting...I personally thought it was funny, and her pile just kept on growing!! Let me tell you though, she plays with every single thing she got on a daily basis!! We really were so blessed this year and truly had an amazing Christmas!!

One of our best gifts we got was finding out we are going to be adding a new member to our family!!! I'M PREGNANT!!!! YEAH!!! We are so excited, and I can't wait for summer to come!! I am due Aug. 18th...can't wait!! It was rough keeping it from our families for a couple of weeks until Christmas especially because I started getting sick SO quickly!! I KNEW I was pregnant at like 3 weeks....I could tell!! I even took the pregnancy test a week early and BAM there was no question it was definitely positive!! I am dealing with the sickness okay...some days I really feel like I'm being a baby and just need to pull it together!! But it is really hard....especially when you have a busy toddler who still needs you all the time!! My laundry is behind...my sink is always full of dirty dishes....my house isn't as clean as I like... but I know it is temporary and I will feel better hopefully sooner than last pregnancy!! My poor mom always comes and does my dishes and does laundry...Joe said the other night,"I don't think I ever hear the Washing Machine going unless your mom has been here!" haha Oh well...this too shall pass!! I am just grateful to be pregnant and all the sickness is SO worth it!!

We have has a crazy year and I am SO glad it is over!! I'm so excited for this new year and what it has to offer!! I am so blessed and so thankful for my life!! I wouldn't trade it for ANYTHING!! Here's to a great 2010 with better updates from the Murphy's!!! :)
