Baby Murphy Is a BOY!!!!

HIP HIP HOORAY!!! It's a boy!!! We are SO excited!! I was about 95% sure it was a boy just becuase this pregnancy has been SO different and the fact that I haven't been sick was a pretty sure sign for me. All the meat, salt, and spicy cravings haven't been for nothing! We can never wait to find out and went at exactly 14 weeks to the Fetal Photo in the mall. We were both pretty nervous all day and Joe was sure it was a girl! He said he would be leaving and going to buy something manly. Gun, Truck, Huge TV or something! lol I was REALLY hoping it was a boy for our pocket book and the fact that I really wanted a boy to feel like we would be completing our family. On our way there Brynlee turns to Brooklyn in her car seat, grabs her leg and says, "Brookey, it is going to be a boy!!" Was she ever right!! :) Brynlee has been SO cute this pregnancy and she was SO excited to go see the baby in mommy's tummy. She totally gets what is going on unlike last time and it is really fun. Just today as we were eating lunch she turned out of the blue and said, "Mom, I sure do love you, and I sure do love that boy in your tummy!" Awww...so cute! I love moments like those...they are what all the craziness is worth! Joe is on cloud nine! All the time he will say "Life is so great! We are having a boy!!" I think I could get away with just about anything for the fact that we are having a boy...and he is SO much nicer....getting me water, letting me take naps and sleep in, for the fact that I am carrying his boy!! hahaha I could really use this to my advantage!! ;)  Of course we had to celebrate with some of my family and Emily that night by going and eating SUPER spicy Mexican food for dinner becuase I was craving it so badly. It was such a fun night and we can't wait to meet our little guy!

Easter 2011

We had such a fun Easter this year! It was fun to see Brynlee actually understand what was going on. We just about Easter Egg Hunted ourselves out!!We had out ward egg hunt, our own family egg hunt, and a cousin hunt at my in-laws. Brynlee was pretty much in heaven!! The girls totally got spoiled with their Easter baskets...and I always find myself asking....why in the heck did I buy so much?? They don't care or in Brooklyn's case even care!! But, it is more fun for me to spoil my kids and keep the traditions alive from when I was a little girl. Brynlee saw her Easter basket and said "Mom, the Easter Bunny is kinda like Santa!!" haha The girls looked really cute in their dresses and I just really can't believe how big Brooklyn is...she is growing was too fast! A funny story I don't want to forget....a couple nights before Easter Joe was out golfing and I remembered we hadn't dyed eggs yet. So I hurried and boiled some and after we put Brooklyn to bed Brynlee and I got everything ready. Well in her excitement I told her I needed to grab a couple more cups for all the colors. In like less than 2 seconds she had dropped almost all but 2 colors in 2 cups!! Holy cow!! Needless to say we had Brown eggs, black eggs, yellow, and blue!! Hilarious!! She was like were is pink? Where is green? etc...I said well you put too many colors together and now we have brown and black! She was like oh...well that's okay I like brown and black! haha Funny kid! Note to self. Next year keep everything away from her until it is all ready to go!!

Funny Quote of Sunday

Brynlee continually cracks us up around here!! Yesterday afternoon she ran around outside with the dog for awhile...she came in took off her jacket and shoes and decided she was done playing outside. Next thing you know I ask Joe is he hears her back outside? We look out the window and find our child running around in her socks and no jacket. How she snuck out we have no idea! Joe goes to the door and tells her she needs to come in and put her shoes and jacket on if she wants to play outside. She runs in and says "Okay dad....but I was really having a great time!!" hahahaha We both started laughing so hard! She is way too funny!
