Brynlee Gene Is Born!

After 16 hours of total labor...Brynlee Gene Murphy was born at 5:34pm Sunday July 20, 2008. She was 7.9oz. and 20 inches long. She had a little bit of a rough start to life. She had problems breathing and got rushed away after birth to NICU. This was definitely the hardest thing I've ever been through in my whole life! After 9 months of waiting all I wanted was to hold my little girl. After 4 days in NICU and after proving all the doctors wrong becuase of the amazing progress she made, she was moved to the "Special Care Unit" where she stayed until she got to come home. The biggest challenge she had was being strong enough to eat enough to gain weight on her own. After 9 VERY long days she was finally able to come home! Prayers were answered, and she is our miracle baby!
