Birth Control??

Today while I'm trying to finish a million things on the computer, I look over at Brynlee who has somehow found my birth control. I started laughing so hard becuase ironically Brynlee is my birth control!! haha Anyways...just thought I would share my funny for the day!

Brynlee is 8 Months Old

I have been such a slacker in blogging...1. Because I am so busy the only time I have to think is when I should be sleeping at night and I lay awake thinking of all the stupid things I need to do. 2. Because we are still in the process of renting our condo out (which we have someone YEAH!!) and 3. Because we have no place to move to because we haven't found a house we LOVE!! Plenty of ones we like...but I'm not buying something I just like... lol Anyways...with all the craziness going on I have totally just realized that tomorrow Brynlee is 8 months old!! I can't believe it!! Seriously when people say time flies, they weren't kidding!!! She changes every single day!! I love it!! She is learning so much so fast and it really is amazing how much she is changing!! Some of my favorite things she does are:
*She laughs at just about anything, and give you a courtesy laugh all the time!
*Her smile is awesome, it takes up her whole face, and now she is looking like a vampire with her eye teeth coming in on top!
*She LOVES food, especially if she can feed herself. Bread, fruit, graduate puff things, you name it she'll eat it!!
*She pulls herself up on everything, and is starting to walk along the couch, crib, whatever she is holding on to.
*She loves watching basketball or ESPN with her dad. She seriously sits on the couch in a daze watching it with him.
*She loves to get into everything. The wipes, my purse, paper, anything she shouldn't get putting in her mouth is what she loves the most!
*She waves at people, it is so cute!! She waves hello and goodbye.
*She is becoming more vocal, when she is excited I can tell, when she is hungry and I'm not getting out the "goods" fast enough I can tell, lol when she is being a brat I can tell, all her little noises and sounds mean something. :)

It's so fun to see her grow...She is so fun! I love being her mom! She gives me a reality check on life everyday and no matter how stressed or sad or angry I get when I hear her laugh or see that big cheesey smile it totally makes my day! I was just telling Joe the other day that if we want our kids close in age we better start thinking about getting pregnant again soon...and soon as in later this year. As I heard myself say that, it freaked me out!! lol It seems like just yesterday I had a baby and I totally don't feel ready for another!! Everyone keeps giving me the "you want her to have a friend" speech, and the "it will take 9 months before you have another"....but I think we are going to have to hold off for awhile on that kind of advice!! I just want to enjoy Brynlee awhile longer!! :)

Look What I Can Do Mom!

As I was in and out of Brynlee's room putting close away I was surprised to see little miss Brynlee doing this for the very first time!!! She was so proud of herself she just kept laughing and jumping up and down!!Looks like it's time to lower the mattress so I don't have a tumbling baby!! Even though she has fallen off the couch more than I want to admit!! Don't ya love her 2 little bottom teeth in this picture?? So funny!

Funniest Home Video....??

So watch the video and pay close attention to the first part and the first scream!! It is hilarious!!! Joe & Brynlee have a very special connection where he can scare her, toss her in the air and play "rough" with her and she LOVES it!! We have been re-playing the first part over and over laughing our guts out!! She is too funny!!! And can you tell she loves her jumperoo??? :)

Moving.....??

Well it is official!! We are going to try and buy our very first real house!!! I'm very excited about the whole situation other than leaving our ward! :( We have fallen madly in love with everyone here and really hate to move....but with the housing market the way it is we are going to try and take advantage of being able to AFFORD buying a house right now! Since we do own our condo we are going to rent it out...as soon as we can get renters in we are house hunting!!! YEAH!!! I'm so excited to have a backyard, garage, MORE STORAGE, and more room to breath!!! I feel like the walls of my little place with ALL the baby stuff are closing in on me everyday!! I'm trying not to get my hopes up becuase if we cannot find renters all of this is still just a dream...but I'm pretty sure we will be able to! It is officially going to be for rent this week and we will see what happens!! We are probably going to live with our in laws for a month or so until a house closes...we just don't want to make any offers until we have renters in a lease here first!! I'm so glad both our families are so supportive and willing to help in any way they can! The wheels are in motion though and after TONS of research of ALL our options, prayer, and fasting this is what we need to do right now! I really hope it all works according to plan and I REALLY hope to be in a bigger place SOON!!!! YEAH!!!! :)

7 Months Old & Surgery

Friday the 20th Brynlee turned 7 Months old!!! She also had her tubes put in her ears...it was a very bittersweet day for me. My little baby is getting so big which is exciting...and she also had a very traumatic day which was really sad :(! We were up very early and had to be at the surgery center at 6:30 am. It completely messed Brynlee up...although I really don't want to write the whole story down...this is really the only "journal" I have so I don't want to forget... She did really good up until the point where they took her from me. Even then she didn't cry which was good becuase I would have completely broke down! She was all smiles and so dang funny in her little surgery gown. I of course forgot my camera so just took a couple with my phone. I have her trained very well. When I get my phone out or the camera out she totally does a cheesy smile for me! She cracks me up!! The saddest part of the whole ordeal was when she woke up from the anesthesia she was SO out of it and didn't know who I was!! She was freaking out thinking one of the "stranger" nurses still had her. For 2 hours after she would just cry and cry and not really know who I was. It broke my heart!! Once that stuff wore off she was fine. I think she had bad dreams about it though the rest of the day because every time she would fall asleep she would wake up so startled and start crying! So sad!! :( She is totally fine now and back to her sassy little self!! I'm so glad we got them put in...now I will never wonder if she has an ear infection!! Well since she is another month older I better post what new things she does now!!

*When she sees a camera or my phone she totally does this cheesy smile!!
*She still will not take a bottle!!! Dang spoiled kid!
*She loves teething biscuits
*She loves to have a taste of everything I'm eating...
*She is so sneaky, every time I'm not looking she always has something in her hand she shouldn't have and most the time it is paper, or mail, or a box of some kind which is now deteriating in her mouth!! (Good thing I read paper passes through them very well lol)
*She pulls herself up to stand on things...she doesn't understand balance yet and ends up falling. But it is crazy how strong she is!!
*She loves to walk everywhere!! (With the help of someone holding her hands)
*She sure does love our doggy!! She is constantly pulling her ears, death grips her nose and fur and then laughs!
*She hisses at me all the time when she smiles...it is hilarious!
*Man oh man does she have a little temper!! If she doesn't get whatever she is wanting like right now she lets you know!!
*She now has 2 bottom teeth!!
*When she smiles for pictures she does her eye brows and eyes all funny! It cracks me up!!
*And my favorite thing...is now when I wake up in bed with her she rolls over and sits up and starts smacking my face for me to wake up!! So dang funny!

So I'm suppose to list 6 random things about me...here it goes!!

1. I really hate crumbs on my counters!! I know this sounds weird. But if there is one little crumb it seriously makes me crazy!! I'm always getting on Joe about wiping the counters down after making something. He just really doesn't understand how much it bugs me!! lol

2. I am completely and utterly obsessed with buying shoes!!! Not so much wearing them...but how I love to buy them! My closet is overflowing with shoes most of them still have tags on them...I just can't pass up a good deal and I LOVE to buy heels!! I don't so much like wearing heels unless it's to church or something....but how I love to buy them! I weed them out every so often...but it's just so hard to give them away because..."One day I will wear them"...NOT! :)

3. I hate to admit this but I am addicted to smutty, stupid, reality shows like Rock of Love (Yes I've watched all seasons), The Hills, The City, the Bachelor, Real World, For the Love of Ray J (which is SO stupid lol), the girls next door, and other such shows like that....I don't watch them every week or anything, but if they are on and I'm scanning channels for something to watch, you better bet I stop and watch them!!

4. I really struggle in the domestic department. I think when I was standing in the domestic line in heaven I saw a shoe sale or something and left the line!! I surely was not blessed with very many skills!! I especially struggle in the kitchen. I try really hard to be skilled in the kitchen but every time I try it usually turns out to be a disaster!! Just last night I was making banana bread and I don't know what I did wrong it completely overflowed in my oven at the same time the dish I had in the microwave exploded in there and all I could do was laugh at myself and want to call in take out somewhere!!

5. I really don't like to work out! Some people really enjoy it, but it is pure torture for me! I really want to look better and I really want to feel comfortable in a swimming suit this summer...but I really hate working out! I'm not patient enough to wait and see the results...it takes too stinking long!! I really don't like being sore either. Not being able to walk, sit, stand, bend over etc...are not satisfying to me! :) I do try though...at least a few times a week!

6. I really love summer. I know a lot of people love the summer but I LIVE for the summer!! I love the water!! Pools, lakes, whatever...I love to swim, I LOVE to lay in the sun and be tan. Being tan is seriously an addiction for me. Bad I know...but it's like the darker I get, the darker I want to be! Weird I know! I love water sports! I love the adrenaline rush of being thrown off a tube while tubing, I love crashing hard when wake boarding, and I love to throw Joe off the back of a jet ski!!! My inner dare devil comes out when it comes to water sports and trust me when I say I'm a lot stronger than I look!!! :)
