Working out and a growing belly....

Well this is a really random post....First I will start off with the fact that once Joe gets home from work Brynlee is literally attached to his hip! She does everything he does, she wants to play any game, and she cannot get enough of him until she goes to bed. It is becuase she is sick of me? Probably! Do I love it becuase I am done with her? YOU BET YA! lol Her and I have a long struggle ahead with the battle of her stubbornness and my stubbornness. I have to constantly ask myself who runs the house?? Me, or Brynlee? haha Anyways...Joe usually comes home from work and does stretches for his back becuase he has some problem areas he deals with in his back. Brynlee always stretches with him...it's pretty dang cute!

 Then if Joe works out which he usually does a few times a week she likes to go down to the "Dungeon," (the basement) and help her dad lift weights. She pretty much just sits there and eats junk while Joe works out which is hilarious to me! But she loves it, and she loves to fist pump Joe after a set and tell him while clapping her hands, "Good job daddy!!"

On another note....I put extensions back in becuase I am quickly getting fat aka pregnant and that means it's time for extensions again so I feel somewhat better about myself. I also took this picture today and I am not even 12 weeks yet but oh yes....there is a belly....and I wish I was sticking it out, but no, it just popped out and I am slightly depressed about it! The realty is sinking in that I am really pregnant again and am showing already...guess it's becuase this is my third and I just had a baby EIGHT MONTHS AGO!!! I am still stretched out!!! :)

I finally got around to having some pictures done of Brooklyn seeing how I missed 6 months these were more like 7 1/2 months. This was a second attempt and still she was SUPER grumpy and about to cry in most of them. SO not my happy smiley baby! But I had a gift certificate I HAD to use and it was the last day....They turned out alright, just wish she would smile. But you gotta love the Chub! Seriously the knee rolls are my FAVORITE!!!

 

 

Lastly....I have to blog about this so I don't forget becuase it is hilarious! Joe showed Brynlee how to go around and squirt us with the squirt bottle I use on her hair in the mornings....well it was all fun and games until next thing you know you were being squirted in the face out of nowhere! The water bottle got put in a place she couldn't get it. Well...the other day I was getting things organized and ready to leave for the afternoon. Seriously a project to leave the house I swear! And suddenly I realize brynlee is being too quiet! No good will come from that. I go upstairs and she has locked herself in our master bedroom. I hear her and the dog running around and she is laughing her head off!! I finally get the door open to find a SOAKING wet dog and a hysterically laughing brynlee becuase she has emptied the WHOLE water bottle on the dog and all over the room one squirt at a time! She is telling me all about it and falling to the floor laughing! I seriously could not keep it in. I was laughing so hard!! I finally composed myself and told her she needed to help me clean up all the water and that she needed to tell Abby she was sorry for getting her so wet. She goes over to Abby who has BOLTED out of the room, pats her on the head, and says, "Abby I am sorry you are so wet, mom says I have to say sorry!" hahahahaha!! REALLY? She is 2!! Poor Abby...but seriously, so hilarious!!

Sleeping Beauties....

Oh they are so sweet when they sleep...I just want to snuggle them when they are sleeping!! Brynlee always manages to fall asleep in the funniest places on the funniest things! I always find here somewhere different and it makes me laugh! There are little angels when they sleep....i love it! :)

Silly Dad

Joe is alot of help around the house...especially since I have such a lack of energy lately... He is so funny though! The other day I asked him if he could help me fold 3 huge piles of the girls clothes. He willing/unwillingly did it and when he was done the clothes were not sorted by Brooklyn's and Brynlee's. I asked him how we would put them away since they were all mixed up? He says: "I don't know who's is who's unless they say Big Sister or Little Sister on them!!" hahahah Oh I love you honey!! Needless to say we had to sort them and get them to the right dressers...As Brynlee would say..."Silly Dad!"

Hamburger

Oh hamburger....how I love you!! So last night at 9:45pm I see this stupid Mcdonalds commercial come on advertising their quarter pounder hamburger. Oh my gosh I instantly wanted one! The weather was horrible outside and I didn't want to drive down and get one, and my husband thinks I am this crazy lunatic with all the weird cravings I have been having so he was definitely not going to drive down their either! So all night I kept thinking about how bad I wanted a hamburger. I don't particularly love McDonald's but I could taste and In n out hamburger all night...I even dreamed about them!! What the heck is wrong with me???? Today I texted Joe to meet me at In N Out after work becuase we were going to eat dinner there. Mmmmm it was SOOO good! Now as I sit here and type this and look at this picture I should have got one to go! I want another one really bad!! hahaha

A New Me....

Okay everyone! I am going to be the first to admit that I seriously struggle with blogging. But the other day one of my dearest clients/friends lite a spark in me to be better. I don't keep a journal so this is the least I can do! I am going to try really really really hard to post even if it is a small post so I can keep track of my kids little achievements and the happenings in my life since I rarely even know what day of the week it is or what I ate at my last meal! :)

FIRST!! For those of you who haven't heard WE ARE PREGNANT AGAIN!! What a surprise to us!! We overcame the shock...mostly me who cried for days....and I think I am excited now...maybe still a little shocked, but getting used to the idea! I am due November 3. Brooklyn and this baby will be 15 months a part!! OH MY GOSH it's going to be crazy!!! The baby looks healthy and I really had no idea that I was pregnant. I usually get SOOO sick with my babies and that is the tell sign. But this time around I have been pretty good! A little nauseated at times...but for the most part feeling pretty good other than I think I could sleep anytime, anywhere!! I cannot thank Heavenly Father enough for letting me not be so sick, I really and truly could not get through this if I were sick.

SECOND!! My work closed down a little over a month ago and I had to quickly move to another salon which is actually closer to my house. I have loved it...it has been pretty stressful with the transition but I think I finally have the hang of things! Thank you to all my friends, and family, and clients who continue to support me and give me the opportunity to do what I love. I love all of you SO much...I have become probably too attached, but I really care for every person that sits in my chair more than anyone will ever know!! :)

THIRD!! My girls are getting SO big!! They are growing up SO fast before my very eyes!! A few things that I don't want to forget....

Brooklyn: 8 months and the girl LOVES the eat. She is 21.5 lbs. and she will pretty much eat anything she can get her hands on including the dogs tail the other day. She was left with a mouth full of hair! Sick!! She has 6 teeth and is such a chubby, happy little baby!! She is learning to stick up for herself and when big sister takes her toy she freaks out until she gets it back!! She loves to sit and play and chew on toys, loves to swing in her swing outside, and loves her big sister! She laughs and laughs at her and eats up any attention she gets from her. She is such a little angel baby...I love her so much!!

Brynlee: aka "Sassy Pants" in our house is such a little helper. She wants to help me do the dishes, clean the house, do the laundry, cook, and really anything else!! She helps so much with Brooklyn and even the dog. She is officially potty trained even through the night and I am LOVING it!! :) She is ADDICTED to Mickey Mouse Club House and would watch it EVERY minute of EVERY day if I would let her. She still has her meltdowns when she doesn't get her way but she is getting better. She LOVES her extended family. She asks me everyday who she will get to see. Gramie, Papa, Em, Madi, Grandma Murphy, Grandpa Murphy, Aaron, Sara, Jodi etc....She continually cracks me up with the things she says and come up with. "Oh jeeze, we are in the Ghetto." "Oh mom this is so cute, will you buy it for me??" "Stop being a brat mama!!" "Ewwww Brooklyn, you stink, how come you don't poop on the potty like me??" "Oh sick! Brooklyn pooped, hurry mom she stinks!!" "Oh what a beautiful day...the sun is shining and the birds are singing, isn't it beautiful mom?" She is too smart for her own good...she keeps me on my toes and I love her to pieces!!

Well that is our life for now...I need to get to cleaning the house! Here are some pictures to enjoy!!

My Chunky Monkey

Brooklyn has acquired many nicknames since she has been born..."Chub Chub" "Chubby Cheekers" "Chunky Monkey" etc....in other words she is a fat, rolly baby and I LOVE it!! Brooklyn is growing so fast...she is 2 1/2 months and almost 15 pounds!!! What happened to my little newborn...???? She is such a little pig and eats not a minute longer than every 2 hours!! She started smiling a few weeks ago and now she is giving me HUGE smiles and giggles! It is probably my most favorite thing in the world!! She is spoiled rotten, loves being held (what baby doesn't?) and has a really funny personality already! She is VERY particular about certain things...1. Her blankets...they have to be super soft and fuzzy! 2. Her bottles have to be the perfect warm temperature or she absolutley refuses to eat no matter how hungry she is. 3. She doesn't like hats. 4. She is very snoopy and if she can't see what she wants to see she will let you know! A change in position is crucial every 5-10 minutes. 5. She wants to sit up dang it! She is a big girl, doesn't want to be held like a baby anymore, and thinks she is much older than she really is. lol She is such a good baby!! She is pretty patient for the most part only becuase she has to be...sometimes after crying like 3 or so minutes she just gives up and goes to sleep. I always feel like a horrible mom, but really, it's okay if babies cry for a little. Especially when you have another bum to change, mouth to feed, and busy big sister to enetertain. That is one thing SO different about having a second baby...you know they will survive, you know YOU will survive, and you know you can do it becuase you have done it before. We have our moments, but for the most part I think we are handling this 2 kid thing pretty good now!! If you would have asked me the first 6 weeks of her life I would tell you I wasn't having anymore babies....now....I already know I want another!! lol She is SUCH a good sleeper since I put her on formula...she sleeps from 9:30 or 10pm until 5am eats A LOT and goes back to sleep until 9! Could I ask for more?? Heck no!!! Her rolls on her legs, her fat cheeks, and her chubby smile just get me everytime!! Oh how I love my little chub!!
